Larry Platt sings Pants on the Ground in American Idol Season 9

This is probably one of the most hilarious videos I have seen in YouTube and now it has become a viral phenomenon. A 62-year-old man from Georgia, Atlanta named Larry Platt auditioned for the American Idol Season 9, singing a rap song written by himself entitled “Pants on the ground.” The American Idol judges got amused so amused that they even bursted into laughter. Even the ever so outspoken judge Simon Cowell did react on what appeared to be the most ridiculous performance ever saying, “I have a horrible feeling that song could be a hit.” He further added, “I don’t think this is the last we’ll hear from you.”

And now people are curious and are searching for the Pants on the ground video which has become a YouTube sensation. Even the American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings Brett Favre joined in on the fun singing ‘Pants on the Ground’ inside their locker room as they celebrated their win against the Dallas Cowboys.

‘Pants on the Ground’ piece by Larry Platt:

“with your gold in your mouth, hat turned sideways, pants on the ground…call yourself a cool cat…..Looking like a fool with your pants on the ground!”
